I understand that it's in everyone, everyone can get pushed to their limit and they end up hitting someone, but you're right, it sounds like it's gone too far and someone needs to step in. Something's really not right with him if he'd do that to the person that is sharing the experience of bringing someone into this world. And what a world to bring another human into! That is scary because you never know when someone is likely to allow themselves to do that to ther person they love.
