I would put healthy alternatives on there beyond "give money to our awesome organization." If you want to give to the homeless, there are always other possibilities. Food, blankets, even a water bottle for eff's sake. Clothing even geez. Donating stuff to organizations only does so much, but when you're faced with a HUMAN BEING every day it's bullshit to pretend to avoid them and then care later about homelessness when you're safe in your cozy abode. What the hell is wrong with saying hi and giving whatever you want? Even if it IS money. Geez. Too true, too true. Personally?
