Living Today
February 6, 2009 0
Unfortunately, today we are living in a society where living is getting harder and harder. I am sure you, or someone who know is going through some kind of financial hardship. The economy is really making it difficult just to get by. My aunt and uncle recently wrote a hardship letter so that they could work out payment arrangements on their house.
Basically, a hardship letter is a letter explaining why you have fallen behind on your mortgage payments and hopefully a way to workout some kind of payment plan with your mortgage company.
Some of the reasons accepted for hardship are as follows:
* Adjustable Rate Mortgage Reset-Payment
* Illness
* Loss of Job
* Reduced Income
* Failed Business
* Job Relocation
* Death of Spouse or Co-Borrower
* Death
* Incarceration
* Divorce
* Marital Separation
* Military Duty
* Reduced Income
* Medical Bills
* Damage to Property (natural disaster or unnatural)
* Other (Please Specify)
If you, or someone you know is in one of these situations then PLEASE consider writing a hardship letter to your mortgage company so that you can try to get out of the situation.
